Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day can be a joyful time of family celebration, but for some, it is a day of piercing heartache. On Mother’s Day, as you celebrate, please remember those who face a day of sadness, memories, and lost dreams.

Beautifully expressed sentiments in the video, Tricia. I’m sure you blessed many the day you spoke them, and will bless many to come who see the video and feel that their situation and pain is heard and understood, especially on a day such as Mother’s Day.

Thank you so much for saying this. I’m 40 and still single. Because I’m a Christian that means I’ve said goodbye to motherhood. It sometimes feels like instead of Mother’s Day it’s a day to honor all women but Christian singles who are waiting. I know there are married women who deal with infertility, and they probably feel like it’s a day to honor all fertile women. I wish we could honor the mothering spirit in women like they do on women’s day in Russia.

Hi I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but I can read that you are hurting and would love to be a mom, have you thought about foster care? or even adoption? My sister, single Christian woman, has begun the adoption process. It is long and lonely, but she has felt called by God to adopt. I have some lovely friends at church who are foster mom’s. They are single and fostering, most states do not have an issue with that. Just because you are a single Christian woman should not hold you back.
