Please Stay

My favorite trees are the ones who wear more than one color, their fall homecoming dresses of red, purple, yellow.

I want to press pause on the loveliness of this season.  Please stay a little longer.

An autumn storm will come and blow them all loose.  I will want to run outside and catch each one with  my hands, pile them in a basket of my t-shirt.

Please stay a little longer, autumn.

  1. Every year I experience Fall as if I have never....it truly is amazing how the colors all change and blend so beautifully....God loves to bless his children with color and change.

  2. I know exactly which trees you're talking about. I don't know what they're called, but they're my favorites as well. Autumn really is lovely. 🙂
