Breaking Up Over Email … and then Getting Back Together

IMG_3551

I have no idea how it happened, but it seems as though I’ve broken up with a few of you over email.  And when I say a few, I mean more than four thousand of you.

How did this happen?  It used to be that roughly 4,027 people received a happy little love note in their inbox when I posted something new, but now only 26 people are getting the love.  That’s a whole lot of friendships on hold.  IMG_3551

Glitches happen in the cyber world, and it has happened in mine.  Ours, actually – this screen space you and I share.

A few of you faithful and loyal readers noticed when my emails stopped showing up in your morning inbox a few weeks ago, and I’m so glad you let me know because who knows how many people think I just moved to a different lunch table and didn’t tell them?

I could sit and worry about this, and part of me wants to obsess about lost readers and views and posts and friends.  Or, I could just start over with you, and we can move forward from here.  Can we please do that?

You’ll see a new widget in the top left corner of the home page.  It looks like this.

If you don’t see it in the top left corner of this page, please go back to the home page.  If you’re reading on an iPad, you may need to turn to a horizontal view.

Tap in your email and give it a few clicks, we’ll be friends again and passing notes across the study hall cafeteria in no time.

Good grief.  Like I can handle this kind of relational drama.

The only thing good about breaking up is getting back together.

Let’s be friends again.

  1. If you sat at a different lunch table, we would still notice you and want to be your friend from across the room. Chances are we would all get up and go find you. You’re worth it!

  2. Can’t miss your blog. Love to you.

  3. I’m trying this; hopefully it works. Will you post something tomorrow? I thought you were just to busy with life?? you know??

  4. I stopped getting them awhile ago, but I just thought you stopped sending them. No matter how many times I go to the home page, there’s no widget there.

  5. I resubscribed to your blog via email Tricia just to make sure we would stay connected! You are one of my favorite blog authors and thank you for being so authentic about your life, faith, and family! Doing so takes courage and you’ve got that in spades,my friend! God Bless to you and your family,Trish! ?Psalm 111?
