Advanced Copies Available To You

20130823-222124.jpg

So, you know what? I have a limited number of advanced reader copies that I can give away at my discretion. Want one?

Here’s the scoop.

Sometimes, as a marketing tool, publishers provide an early release of a book in order to create buzz and spread the word. Word of mouth is one of the best sales tactics, since people usually choose their books based on a friend’s recommendation.

And so, my friends, I have a box of books in my living room. Tyler said, “Woah, that’s a whole lotta-lotta Life Comes Back!”

Would you consider becoming an Advanced Reader?

The book with a small catch: I need to ask you to talk about it after you read it. Share it with others. Tell them about it. Write about it on your blog. Write a review on Goodreads and Amazon. Give it to your local librarians, that they may order for their local districts. Spread the word to circles who might not know about the story, the blog, the book.  All over the country, all over the world.

Do you have some connections? Want to join my marketing team? Or -on a personal level, which is where I live and think – would you join my story by sharing it with others?

For an advanced copy, email me. Tell me how you can share this book with others – what circles you belong to, audiences can you speak into, circles you read with, blogs you write, blogs you read, bookstores you frequent or work at – any information that would cause my publisher to say, “Wow, Trish!  Great choice in sending a copy to that reader!”

Or just tell me how much you love this book already and your willingness to sing it from the mountaintops.

Waiting to hear from you. Please flood my inbox. 🙂

  1. Hi Tricia. A friend sent me your blog link (Teaching Tuck and Ty) the day that my husband suddenly died on our bedroom floor, almost one year to the day that Robb did the same thing. I’ve read every one of your blog posts since. I’ve told all my friends that you’re my therapist, and truly, I believe it. I know some widows, I have a ton of friends, a great church (2 actually), but no blog. I really only read your blog. That’s my resume. BUT, I live in Littleton so the shipping is cheap (I’d even pick it up at your house). Honestly, I would love to give it to a 34 year old recent widow friend in the Springs. Trust me….the book will get around!! That’s all I got.

  2. Tricia-

I have tried emailing you and it gets bounced back.

I would LOVE to have an advanced copy of your book.

I have a blog (which I haven’t blogged on since my daughter was born LAST August-oops), but I am trying to get back to it and I would definitely write a review there and wherever else you wanted me to. I read many well-read blogs and I can email several of them asking if they’d feature your book.

I can suggest your book to my ladies group at church and I volunteer at the library where I can ask them to consider carrying your book.

I am in a book club with friends and I feel your book would be full of great conversations for our group.

Finally, I have a friend that became a widow last October and when I am finished with the book, I would love to send it to her.

Thank you for the opportunity. Whether it be now or in early 2014, you can be sure I’ll still be reading your book and telling everyone I know about it

    Warmly,
    Ellery Platt

  3. Tricia, I know the founder and director of New Hope Grief, which started here in Long Beach California some years ago and has spread through churches and other organizations throughout the state and won a commendation from the governor. You could send a copy directly to them at https://www.newhopegrief.org/ but it might get lost in the shuffle if they haven’t heard of you. I would be happy to read, review, and give a copy of the book with a personal endorsement to Director Sue Beeney. (She knows I lost my husband too.) You can have it sent to me at 186 E. Cameron Place, Long Beach CA 90807-3851.

  4. I do love this book already and I have at least 5 friends who are interested in getting the book in January or February. I don’t think I’ve missed one of your blogs since you started. When I think my friends will be interested in certain blogs I email it to them. They always enjoy reading them and give the same comments ~ ‘that girl is a gifted, talented writer and speaker’ (because Char tells me she speaks as she writes).

I love knowing you from your teenage years until now. Yours is a well-documented life.

I love shouting things from the mountain top. I shall add friends to my list of 5 along with my family (lots of aunts and cousins), Bible study women, and my neighbors. Life Comes Back will be included in Nettie’s birthday gifts in March. Keely will be the proud reader soon after that as a ‘just because’ gift. She travels a lot with her job and always needs a good read.

I would love an advanced copy of your book. Can I reach hundreds of people? Maybe not at the moment but I’m thinking of just how I could do that.

    my love to you,
    Char

  5. Yes, please, I’d love to read one now & share about it with friends in grief ministry & others who just love to hear the reality of what grief is like, written by a woman who God has truly gifted. That would be such a gift & a privilege, Tricia!

    Thanks, Adina

  6. Hi Tricia; for some reason I can never email you but once in a while it will let me make a post. Here you go. I read several funny mom blogs, but love yours the best. I don’t blog but am a fantastic reviewer and post where I want, whether it’s food, books or experiences, especially if something moves me. I always share with friends, and their friends too, and I love to support libraries. Plus I am very connected with Farmers, as you know you have a huge fan base here and I would love to share with them. Laura

  7. Me! Me! Me! 🙂

First- The negatives: I don’t blog on my blog. You are the only blogger I regularly follow. I don’t work in a bookstore. I don’t have an official circle of readers.

BUT, I don’t have one good friend that isn’t aware of your blog & the long awaited arrival of your book! Friends often ask me “So, how’s Tricia doing?” as if I know you personally 🙂

There are many others that have more connections than I and you definitely need to get the books in their hands for marketing. But if you have a spare I will commit to-

    1. Suggesting on my FB page 2. Emailing all my business & personal contacts 3. Writing reviews on Good Reads & Amazon 4. Visit & write local bookstores & libraries 5. Any other suggestions you have…

I started following “Teaching Tuck & Ty” in the fall of 2010. Your journey has a special place in my heart.

    Blessings, DeAnn
