Still She Reaches

Though her branches are bare,

though the sun hides,

still she reaches her arms to the sky.

I had to take a picture of her.

  1. Reminds me of that Matthew West song:

    Well, maybe
    Maybe that’s the point
To reach the point of giving up
    Cause when I’m finally
    Finally at rock bottom
Well, that’s when I start looking up
    And reaching out
    (Cool picture.)

  2. dear tricia..what a lovely thought!..i used to wonder why the warm leaves would fall off the trees leaving the branches cold and bare..such a sad sight and then about four years ago before the autumn leaves had a chance to fall, a huge early snow fall came!..and then the damage happened. the snow was so heavy on the leaves that many of the trees had such heavy branches, that they broke!..i guess the lord knows what he is doing when he makes the leaves fall. the tree’s branches may be cold and bare but at least they will hang around until the sweet spring and bear many buds which the warmth of the summer sun will cause to burst into new life!….love terry
